About The Role

Morrison Energy Services is seeking an Electrical Safety Engineering Manager to join our Central SHEQ Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the business to deliver projects safely and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure all staff are operationally competent for their assigned duties and maintain written records of their competence.
  2. Develop and maintain electrical external accreditations, including NERS, and ensure the team is aware of the requirements.
  3. Establish and maintain written policies and procedures for electrical work across the organization.
  4. Lead the team to provide a consistent approach to competency and ensure a high level of operational safety.
  5. Develop and implement electronic field records in association with other personnel.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  1. Educated to HNC or equivalent, with a degree preferred.
  2. Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
  3. Hold a safety qualification such as NEBOSH.
  4. Knowledge of Smart Metering and BS7671.
  5. Strong team management and interpersonal skills.
  6. Clear focus on operational safety and ability to demonstrate safety behaviors.
