The Electrical Safety Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring all staff working on or near electricity networks conduct themselves in accordance with Morrison Energy Services, client safety procedures, and industry accreditations, including NERS.
This role reports to the Energy Division Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all staff are operationally competent for their assigned duties in writing.
- Maintain and develop all electrical external accreditations.
- Maintain written policies and procedures across the whole scope of MUS electrical work.
- Manage the team to provide a service across all electrical work streams to ensure a consistent approach to competency.
- Develop and implement electronic field records in association with other personnel.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
Educated to HNC or equivalent, but degree level preferred.Member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET).Hold a safety qualification such as NEBOSH.Knowledge of Smart Metering and BS7671.Team management skills.Good interpersonal skills and demonstrate clear safety behaviours.Clear focus on operational safety.
