About the Role
This placement year role at BMW Hams Hall offers a unique blend of responsibilities and opportunities, working with state-of-the-art technologies and complex data systems integral to our production processes. You will be working on a range of innovative projects that push the boundaries of what is possible in control systems and digitalization.
About the Team
You will be joining a dynamic team of experts who are passionate about driving innovation and excellence in their field. With a focus on full-stack development and data analysis, you will be working on complex systems that integrate state-of-the-art technologies such as generative AI, robotics, and computer vision.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems utilizing cloud and on-premises solutions, with exposure to industry-standard tools like Apache Kafka. You will also be working on pioneering projects that leverage AI to revolutionize our approach to problem-solving and automation. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your skills in front-end and back-end development, understanding industry working and devops practices.
Salary and Benefits
This role offers a competitive annual salary of £25,300, 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme. Contracted working hours are 40 hours a week, helping you develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
