Design Engineer Professional

Accora Limited is a dynamic company that designs and manufactures assistive medical devices. We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join our Product Development team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to take products with complex electromechanical assemblies from concept through to mass production. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new ideas, creating 3D CAD models, and building working prototypes for evaluation and testing.
Key Responsibilities- Develop innovative solutions for product design and development
- Create detailed 3D CAD models and build prototypes in-house
- Produce comprehensive product specifications for manufacture, including drawings and documentation
- Manage pre-launch product testing and quality assurance
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software
- Hands-on experience with small tools and bench work, including metal and woodwork
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
At Accora Limited, we offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes a company laptop, annual leave, private medical healthcare cover, and training opportunities. We value diversity and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
