Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sample Reception Technician to support our laboratory team in Cambridge - Bar Hill. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of samples received through our designated courier service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Log samples into our booking system in accordance with customer and company objectives.
  • Prioritize sample processing to maintain the time sensitivity of products.
  • Inform senior staff of any difficulties impacting KPIs to ensure remedial action is taken and customer expectations are managed.
Requirements:
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and general computer practice.
  • High focus on precision and accuracy.
  • GCSE grade A to C (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Full driving license.
