About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry, you will be responsible for providing expert psychiatric care to patients within our medium secure services.
Main Responsibilities
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with complex mental health needs. You will work closely with colleagues to provide medical leadership and develop sustainable specialist forensic services for the population of North Wales.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be on the Specialist Register with the GMC, have CCT or recognised equivalent, or be within 6 months of obtaining it at the time of interview. You will also need to have experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team and delivering postgraduate teaching.
