About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychiatrist to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a Consultant in Forensic Psychiatry, you will be responsible for the overall psychiatric care of an inpatient population within our medium secure services.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide medical leadership and assessment & management for inpatients and the wider responsibilities of the forensic service locally, including prisons and community forensic mental health teams.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement sustainable specialist forensic services for the population of North Wales.

Requirements
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of completing CCT.
- Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
