Educational Psychologist Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Mental Health Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with our therapeutic team to provide support and guidance to students with complex needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a specialist school setting.
Responsibilities
As a Mental Health Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting the academic learning, emotional wellbeing and behaviour of students aged 8 to 18 with complex needs
* Working closely with our therapeutic team to provide child-centred support and guidance
* Providing feedback and reporting on student progress to parents and carers
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of child development and the ability to build rapport with students. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential. Graduates in a relative field such as Psychology, Counselling or Criminology would also be considered.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
