Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Fusion and Modular Nuclear Systems Engineer to join our Fusion and Modular Nuclear Business Unit. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop advanced thermal and fluid systems for a cutting-edge Fusion and Modular project.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate systems, ensuring seamless performance and efficiency.
- Produce, review, and update system documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
- Perform in-depth analysis to define the control philosophy for the system, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Execute precise sizing of components to meet project requirements, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct detailed thermal-hydraulic calculations and modeling to validate system performance.
- Formulate detailed equipment specifications to meet project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

- Essential:
- Process or Chemical Engineering Degree.
- Demonstrated understanding of fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Experience in producing design documentation and test specifications.
- Proficient in using PIPESIM, Flomaster, or other 1D CFD software.
- Additional Information:
- Experience with European and Offshore standards (e.g., Eurocode 3 and DNV).
- Master-level qualifications are preferable.
- Skilled in checking and approving engineering CAD assemblies and detailed drawings.
- Proficient in checking and approving engineering documentation, including manual calculations and reports.
- Excellent Finite Element Analysis skills; knowledge of ANSYS Workbench is highly desirable.
- Experience in the production, checking, and approval of non-linear and fatigue FEA using DNV and Eurocodes.
