Nuclear Safety and Systems Specialist

Are you passionate about working in safety-critical industries? As a Nuclear Safety and Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in assessing risks for our nuclear clients, contributing to their low-carbon energy ambitions.

This role involves producing hazards assessments, authoring complex safety cases, and supporting critical decision-making in the design, operation, and/or decommissioning of nuclear facilities. You will also influence client strategic direction to secure a nuclear site licence for innovative designs.

As a key member of our team, you will work with diverse clients from the defence, nuclear generation, and nuclear new build sectors, including innovative players from the fusion and SMR markets. You will be responsible for delivering excellent technical work, addressing complex problems, and presenting solutions to stakeholders.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to and learn from our global technical community, taking advantage of our expertise to foster collaboration within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Additionally, you will develop your leadership skills by mentoring junior engineers and supporting our growth and project delivery capabilities.
