Senior Ecologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Ecologist to join our team at RSK Biocensus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing medium to large-scale projects, from commencement to completion and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and overseeing projects, including finance, resource allocation, managing sub-contractors, risk and quality assurance, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication.
  • Completing fieldwork, including out-of-hours surveys, travelling as required and working away from home.
  • Overseeing aspects of site work and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation, under supervision.
  • Assisting with the delivery of survey and research reports, to include document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, reporting, etc.

Person Specification

  • 1st Degree in a relevant discipline or Vocation qualification.
  • 5 Years specific relevant experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Species specific personal licences are desirable.
  • Associate membership with CIEEM.
  • Abide by CIEEM's Code of Professional Conduct.
