Senior Ecologist Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ecological consultancy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects.

About the Role

The Senior Ecologist will be responsible for leading on large-scale ecological projects, including survey design and delivery, species mitigation, and report writing. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver ecological surveys and assessments
  • Lead on species mitigation projects, including obtaining protected species licenses
  • Write high-quality reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support less experienced team members and contribute to the development of the team
Requirements
  • Proven experience in ecological consultancy, with a strong background in species mitigation and report writing
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QGIS
