Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead the Hastings Multiple Admission Patient Pathway Team. The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the pathway, as well as support the work within the Assessment and Treatment Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Hastings Multiple Admission Patient Pathway Team
  • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the pathway
  • Support the work within the Assessment and Treatment Team
  • Facilitate network meetings
  • Provide psychological expertise in the pathway and direct and indirect therapy offer
Requirements:
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology
  • Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Significant assessed experience of working as a qualified psychologist
  • Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity
  • Knowledge of legislation in relation to the client group
  • Well-developed knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies in specific difficult to treat groups
  • Evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC
  • Formal training in supervision of other psychologists
