Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking an experienced Practitioner Psychologist to lead our Hastings Multiple Admissions Pathway, providing clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation to the team. The successful candidate will also facilitate network meetings and provide psychological expertise in the pathway, as well as direct and indirect therapy services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Hastings Multiple Admissions Pathway, providing clinical leadership and supervision to the team.
- Facilitate network meetings and provide psychological expertise in the pathway.
- Provide direct and indirect therapy services to patients.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the development of the pathway, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in applied psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and lifespan developmental psychology.
- Professionally registered as a Practitioner Psychologist with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant assessed experience of working as a qualified psychologist, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality services.
- Experience of working with a wide variety of client groups, across the whole life course and presenting with the full range of clinical severity.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to the client group, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Well-developed knowledge of the theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and psychodynamic therapy.
- Evidence of continuing professional development, as required by the HCPC.
- Formal training in supervision of other psychologists.
