Finance Assistant Role at Premium Credit

Premium Credit is a leading provider of insurance premium finance and annually charged services in the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking a Finance Assistant to support our team in ensuring key deliverables are met, including timely payment processing and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Process payments for upfront fees, advance commissions, performance bonuses, and scheduled contract payments
  • Conduct daily financial reporting and analysis
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maintain accurate payment records
  • Work with the finance team to ensure accurate incentive accruals
  • Process manual payments requested by Accounting Operations, obtaining necessary approvals and recording in the register
Requirements:
  • Strong mathematical background (A Level or equivalent)
  • Proficient in Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Multitasking and meeting deadlines

The successful candidate will have a competitive salary of £29,000 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, hybrid working, 25 days annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
