About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Designer to join our Womenswear design team at Next. As a key part of the critical path, you will be responsible for creating new and innovative designs across Womenswear within the partner branded team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching the latest trends relevant to various customer profiles and communicating this information to the team and senior stakeholders
  • Producing elevated designs that tastefully represent what the brand is after as well as the customer
  • Working closely with the Designers and Buyers to support the whole design process from planning new ranges through to product selection
  • Briefing suppliers and continuing to build great relationships

Requirements:

  • Experience at an Assistant Designer/Senior Assistant Designer level within a UK brand
  • Collaborative outlook and a great taste level
  • Passion for the latest trends and a true eye for elevation and detail
  • High level of experience and proficiency in creating and presenting seasonal trends, creating designs and tech packs using Adobe creative suite
