About the Job
This is a full-time position that requires 37 hours of work per week. The salary for this role is £23,122 - £33,311, plus a £5,000 annual salary supplement for qualified candidates. A 5% annual bonus scheme is also in operation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop relationships with local employers, deliver high-quality apprenticeships, and take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices.
Key Responsibilities
As an Assessor in Accounting, your key responsibilities will include:
- To develop and maintain relationships with local employers, including the development of Higher Apprentices.
- To deliver high-quality apprenticeships by carrying out workplace assessment and delivering underpinning knowledge with a bias to accounting at level 2-4.
- To provide ongoing training and assessment so learners are fully prepared for their End Point assessment.
- To take an active part in the recruitment of new apprentices through contact with local employers - managing key accounts, schools/colleges, and through events.
- To complete all required information under the projects to include Initial Assessment and Individual Learning Plan.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold a relevant accounting qualification, such as AAT level 4, degree, or other relevant qualification. Experience of assessing relevant accounting standards or frameworks is highly desirable but not essential. You will also need to have relevant industrial experience within the accounting sector.
