Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Community Care Assistant to join our team. As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers with their daily needs, including personal care, medication management, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to customers, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Support customers with light domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Prepare meals and snacks for customers
  • Accompany customers on outings and provide companionship
  • Work collaboratively with other care professionals to ensure seamless care delivery

Working Hours and Rates

We offer flexible working hours, including weekdays and weekends, with competitive rates of up to £13.50 per hour. Our Community Care Assistants work in a variety of settings, including customers' homes and community centers.

Requirements

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required for this role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
