About the Role:

Global Relay is seeking a skilled Program Manager to join our Product Management team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for executing product strategy, prioritizing and aligning roadmaps, and researching and defining enhancements and upgrades to our cloud-based services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning and coordination for the delivery of cross-team initiatives, working with product management on scope and component teams on delivery approach and phasing.
  • Compile work estimates and planning assumptions, socializing overall target milestones based on work estimates and assumptions.
  • Identify and coordinate cross-component and cross-product line dependencies throughout the development life cycle, tracking key project gates to completion.
  • Work closely with component teams and integration testing environments to ensure readiness and effective alignment/co-ordination across teams.
  • Remove obstacles blocking progress, ensuring releases and initiatives track to schedule, escalating as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and manage delivery risks in accordance with Global Relay's risk management framework.
  • Track progress against target completion dates using Jira and other tools, resolving issues impacting plans.
  • Report on progress at project-specific and company-wide meetings, in accordance with Global Relay's project and program management framework.
  • Acquire a high-level understanding of product design, business logic, and technical architecture, becoming a subject matter expert for priority initiatives.
  • Champion process improvements, identifying opportunities to streamline and provide visibility into critical cross-component delivery activities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of full lifecycle software development project management experience, including planning, monitoring, managing risks and issues, and reporting on project status.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and hybrid development methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
  • Strong organizational, planning, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
  • Experience with SaaS, messaging platforms, or data integration for enterprise markets (desirable).
