Head Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Surya Hotels. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to detail throughout our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate rooms for servicing to the team, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting client expectations.
  • Maintain standards by conducting regular room checks and providing guidance to team members to improve performance.
  • Manage cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Ensure that cleaning meets and exceeds client standards, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain and enhance the cleanliness of the building, ensuring rooms are ready for check-ins.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading a Housekeeping team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Commitment to high levels of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
  • Friendly and approachable personality, with excellent customer service skills.
