Job Summary

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in providing exceptional cleaning and hygiene services to our residents. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and ensuring the well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our residents.
  • Cleaning and Hygiene: Maintain a high standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the home, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and free from clutter.
  • Staff Development: Supervise and support the development of your team members, providing training and guidance to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Resident Care: Understand the needs and preferences of our residents and ensure that their personal care and well-being are met.
  • Laundry Services: Ensure that the laundry of residents' clothing is done to the highest standard, using high-quality equipment and processes.
  • Meetings and Communication: Attend meetings with residents and their families to discuss their needs and concerns, and communicate effectively with the wider care team.
  • Operational Management: Manage the rota and budget for the housekeeping team, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
