About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Care UK. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our care homes.

As a leader, you will be responsible for supervising a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards. You will also be responsible for managing the laundry of residents' clothing, ensuring it is done to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the housekeeping team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Supervise and develop the skills of housekeeping staff
  • Manage the laundry of residents' clothing
  • Attend resident and relative meetings
  • Manage rotas and budgets
