Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Assist the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day operations and administration of the nursery, providing guidance and leadership to nursery staff.
  • Staff Development: Support and mentor nursery staff, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care and education.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure that all nursery policies and procedures are implemented and followed, promoting a safe and inclusive environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Activity Planning: Oversee the planning and delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Parent and Carer Relationships: Collaborate with parents and carers to build strong, supportive relationships, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
  • Nursery Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of the nursery, identifying areas for growth and implementing changes to enhance the quality of care and education.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years, with a strong understanding of childcare principles and practices.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a senior role within a nursery setting, with a track record of leadership and management.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
