About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at the Aster Group. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Senior Care Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home and deputise in their absence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective management and supervision of a great team, leading with passion and enthusiasm to ensure the service is well run.
  • Lead on service delivery, keeping it under review and work with Team Leaders for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and provide the highest standards of support to our service users, promoting independence and choice.
  • Ensure the service is fully compliant regarding health and safety management, fulfilling statutory obligations and excellent overall service delivery.

About You

  • You will need experience in managing a team of care staff in a residential setting.
  • You will need experience of Support planning, care programme approach and care management.
  • You will need experience of person-centred working.
  • You will need a Health and Social Care Level 4 Diploma or equivalent.
  • You will need to pass our DBS check or be on the DBS update service.
