About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional SEN Teacher to join our team at Bestwood Village School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and safe learning environment for our pupils, promoting positive relationships between peers, and driving academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective learning strategies to meet the diverse needs of our pupils.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to secure high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Lead on curriculum areas, contributing to the development of innovative and engaging educational programs.
  • Supervise and develop Teaching Assistants, ensuring they are equipped to support pupil learning.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure seamless communication and support.

Requirements

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status/Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills.
  • Proven experience in teaching English and Maths, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level.
  • Primary Teacher with experience in Teaching EYFS Years 1-4.
  • Previous experience in SEND Teaching.
