Supervisor Opportunity at Chartwells - Schools

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our catering and support services in schools across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of staff, creating a positive and supportive environment where they feel valued and motivated.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Assist with weekly bookwork and other duties as necessary, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach.
  • Produce weekly rotas, following guidelines and ensuring effective team management.
  • Place orders for stock, maintaining correct levels and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Delegating tasks and responsibilities to team members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and customers.
  • Comply with Health & Safety regulations, identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, able to work under pressure and maintain a positive outlook.
