Job Summary:
Donard Recruitment is seeking a skilled Clinical Assessor to join our team in a hybrid working opportunity. As a Clinical Assessor, you will be responsible for providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP) while ensuring a personalized, inclusive, safe, and empathetic service for the service user.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports (PBR)
- Manage caseloads from end to end, including assessing the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant
- Have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings
Requirements:
- Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
- 1+ years post-qualification experience
- Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions
- Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
Benefits:
- Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500
- 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality & retention bonus
- OTE: £45,650
- Hybrid full-time, part-time working hours available
- Training options: 12 weeks (full-time), 14 weeks (4 days per week), and 17 weeks (3 days per week)
- 25 days holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service
