The role is designed to be home-based, with the option to work from any Wood office in the UK if preferred. Mobility and travel to customer sites and face-to-face meetings with colleagues will be expected as required.

Applicants must be able to pass the HMG Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and managing fire and gas detection systems in gas plant settings.
  • Strong knowledge of UK safety standards and regulations related to fire and gas detection.
  • Formal training in Engineering design software packages.
  • Exposure to design concepts using 3D software.
  • Experience working with all disciplines and departments to meet deadlines.
