About the Role

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Digital Project Coordinator to join our Business Systems Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our fast-growing customer-facing businesses, Cat Job Site Solutions and Caterpillar Safety Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize business needs, develop requirements, and deliver solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities, including overseeing project responsibilities and schedules, developing contingency plans for potential risks, and directing and motivating project teams.
  • Evaluate and manage deliverables to ensure that service expectations are achievable, developed, and met.
  • Monitor project results for significant deviations and ensure adherence to quality standards and processes.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an IT capacity, serving the data reporting and visualization needs of an internal or external business unit, using Agile Methodology, Azure DevOps, Tableau or Power BI, and Snowflake platform.
  • Service-oriented mindset, with a strong desire to help others.
  • Naturally inquisitive with an interest in business insights.
  • Well-organized, strong communication, problem-solving, and report generation with visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) skills.
  • Multi-lingual (preferred).

Desired Skills

  • IT Project Management: Knowledge of project management, including planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling IT projects using appropriate technical resources.
  • IT Standards, Procedures & Policies: Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) standards and policies, including utilizing a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to manage organizational IT standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools, techniques, and processes for gathering and reporting data, including practicing them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • IT Project Control and Reporting: Knowledge of project control and reporting, including monitoring the vital signs of an IT project while managing its progress and delivery schedule.

  • This position may require occasional domestic travel (less than 10%).
