About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at beBee Professionals in Gillingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with students who require additional support and make a real difference in their lives.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs and be able to provide tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with special educational needs in classroom activities, working closely with the lead teacher to develop and implement effective support strategies.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust support plans as needed to ensure students meet their academic and personal goals.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other support staff to ensure a consistent and comprehensive approach to supporting students with special educational needs.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Special Education or a related field, along with relevant experience working with students who have special educational needs.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
