The Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Tutor to deliver 1:1 sessions to young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in the Havering area. The successful candidate will have experience as a Teacher, Teaching Assistant or Mentor.

Position Details

  • Location: The tutor will travel to the child's home, local library or community centre.
  • Position: Part-time or full-time 1:1 Tutor.
  • Hours: Approximately 10-15 hours per week.
  • Start date: As soon as possible.
  • Subjects: English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and fun lessons to students with SEN.
  • Plan and prepare effective lesson plans.

Requirements

  • Experience working with students with a range of SEN.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

  • Excellent daily pay rates dependent on experience (£20-£30 per hour).
  • Full-time work available for the right candidate.
  • Long-term contracts.

Able to use own transport or willing to travel is beneficial. Enhanced Disclosure via the DBS required for successful applicants.
