Job Title: Senior Tenancy Support Worker

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a skilled Senior Tenancy Support Worker to join our team. As a Senior Tenancy Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing social, emotional, and practical support to individuals experiencing challenges with their mental health and emotional well-being that could impact their ability to maintain a stable tenancy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to individuals to develop life skills and maintain a tenancy within the community.
  • Work with a national homelessness charity in Glynneath to support people experiencing challenges with their mental health and lifestyle choices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support and case management.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to identify individual needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and services to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to support.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in supported housing or a similar field.
  • Knowledge of current welfare and housing benefits.
  • Ability to work with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
