About the Role

The Institute of the Motor Industry. limited is seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of aircraft maintenance scheduling, from planning to execution.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement short-term and medium-term maintenance plans to meet operational requirements.
  2. Coordinate with the Maintenance Team, Technical Records, and Operations Controllers to ensure efficient maintenance scheduling.
  3. Analyse aircraft utilisation data to inform maintenance planning decisions.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address maintenance programme gaps.
  5. Manage the maintenance planning calendar to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  6. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including planned and actual task completion times.
  7. Work closely with colleagues to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in aircraft maintenance scheduling, ideally within the aviation industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations and associated standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
