Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring General Assistant to join our team at Hartford Care. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living tasks and mobility.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe environment, including housekeeping duties and laundry services.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive nutritious and appetizing food.
  • Support residents during mealtimes and engage in activities that promote social interaction and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive team environment.

Requirements

  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a strong commitment to providing excellent care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A willingness to participate in ongoing training and development, to ensure up-to-date knowledge and skills in care and support.
