Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our regional team, you will be responsible for delivering a range of commercial building services, including gas appliance maintenance, installation, and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inspect and maintain gas appliances, central heating plant, and plant room equipment.
  2. Attend reactive, diagnostic, and emergency repair calls, liaising with colleagues and suppliers to obtain information on parts, costs, and lead times.
  3. Install and carry out site works associated with the installation of gas appliances, central heating plant, and plant room equipment.
  4. Participate in a 1 in 4 callout rota for emergency attendance.
  5. Provide guidance to site-based client teams on the operation and management of their assets, advising on replacement or upgrade rather than repair when necessary.
  6. Support the creation of quotations, including equipment, parts, and labour.
  7. Deliver contracted performance targets and CMS expectations, including Health & Safety, Work standards, PACE, and Conformity with core processes and workflows.
  8. Develop technical expertise in one of your regional team's key technical competencies.
  9. Represent the company as an ambassador, living our values, exceeding customer expectations, promoting our brand, and contributing to the wider business through a culture of openness, continuous improvement, collaborative working, and interdependence.

You must comply with the requirements of the Company's Policy Statements, maintain a focus on employee safety, and comply with the detailed safety responsibilities within the Company's Business Management System.

Training and Qualifications:

  1. Able to pass a DBS check for relevant convictions.
  2. Current ACS Qualifications / Commercial gas safe registered plumber.
  3. Commercial Gas Qualifications/ Domestic Gas Qualifications/ Industrial Gas Qualifications.
  4. Gas Catering Qualifications/ Gas LPG Qualifications.
  5. Experienced in Commercial Mechanical Services, Heating and Hot Water Services.
  6. Current Driving License and able to work in the UK.
