Job Title: Engagement Team Lead

Volunteering Matters is seeking an experienced and skilled Engagement Team Lead to join our team in Blaenau Gwent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our engagement efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, and delivering high-quality programs and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, and support volunteers to deliver our programs and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local community groups, organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Design and deliver engagement strategies to promote our programs and services.
  • Collaborate with our project team to ensure effective program implementation and evaluation.
  • Provide administrative support for the team, including data entry, reporting, and communication.
  • Represent Volunteering Matters at local events and meetings.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in community engagement, volunteer management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
