We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our Central Eating Disorder team as a Clinical CAMHS Practitioner. This role has been developed as part of the Mental Health improvement agenda to support the development of CYP eating disorders services regionally and nationally.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people with eating disorders and eating difficulties.
- Deliver evidence-based therapies and support to individuals and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
- Relevant professional qualification and registration.
- Eligibility to practice under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010.
- Postgraduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field.
- Excellent knowledge of mental health problems and disorders.
- Understanding of relevant therapeutic approaches.
- Additional formal qualification in a recognised therapeutic approach.
- Specific, targeted, evidence-based interventions.
- Formal qualification in a relevant field.
- Understanding of service structures and inter-agency working.
