We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our Central Eating Disorder team as a Clinical CAMHS Practitioner. This role has been developed as part of the Mental Health improvement agenda to support the development of CYP eating disorders services regionally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessment and intervention for children and young people with eating disorders and eating difficulties.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapies and support to individuals and their families.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, and professionals.
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional qualification and registration.
  • Eligibility to practice under the Mental Health Measure (Wales) 2010.
  • Postgraduate diploma or relevant knowledge, training, and experience in the specialist field.
  • Excellent knowledge of mental health problems and disorders.
  • Understanding of relevant therapeutic approaches.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Additional formal qualification in a recognised therapeutic approach.
  • Specific, targeted, evidence-based interventions.
  • Formal qualification in a relevant field.
  • Understanding of service structures and inter-agency working.
