Job Title: Fire Risk Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor
Job Summary:
ATK Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor to join our team. As a Fire Risk Consultant / Fire Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) reports for a diverse portfolio of building archetypes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) reports for listed/graded heritage buildings, buildings of particular design and architectural importance, as well as conventional office, retail, and residential premises.
- Undertake retrospective fire strategies, fire safety management plans, fire safety audits, occupancy calculations and reviews, and RIBA stage 2, 3, 4 and 6 assessments and reports.
- Provide consultancy work for clients on a reactive basis, offering relevant and high-quality advice/support to suit the client.
- Manage your own diary and clients, with the role being fully remote, home-based.
Requirements:
- Fire Safety Degree (BSc) or CFPA Diploma - Level 4/5 Diploma in Fire Safety.
- Wide range of experience in assessment/survey work across a diverse portfolio of building archetypes in the built environment.
- Demonstrate understanding of the principles of fire safety in all buildings, including relevant or 'in-scope' residential buildings that fall within the scope of the Building Safety Act and more complex commercial buildings as well as mixed occupancy/use buildings of all ages and design layouts.
