Care Assistant Role in Hospital Setting

Caithness Voluntary Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our Healthcare Team at Caithness General Hospital, Wick. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our staff in their roles.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Assisting with daily activities, such as taking patients to appointments and participating in group activities
- Maintaining patient records and contributing to handovers and meetings
- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A diploma or degree in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- At least 6 months' experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
We offer a salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Our benefits package includes:
