Role Overview

To work under the supervision of registered therapy staff, you will assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals. This includes undertaking baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters and implementing treatment programmes within agreed protocols.

As a key member of our team, you will deliver flexible, patient-centred programmes across various clinical settings. Your duties may vary depending on the care group or assigned area of work.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this part-time position is £28,840 per annum, pro-rata. We offer a minimum of 27 days annual leave increasing with length of service, as well as a range of benefits including occupational health services and employee counselling.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • HNC in healthcare, education, or social care, or SVQ III in healthcare, education, or social care, or equivalent experience.
  • Awareness of health legislation relevant to the clinical area.
  • Knowledge of the therapeutic process, techniques, and/or activities relevant to the client group.
  • Basic assessment skills.
  • Ability to apply a range of technical and practical rehabilitation skills.
  • Effective listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Contract Type and Location

This part-time role is based in Physiotherapy within University Hospital Wishaw, working 29.90 hours per week.
