We're seeking a dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in North Lanarkshire. As a valued member of our community, you'll provide person-centred care and support to individuals with disabilities and/or additional support needs.

About the Job

The estimated salary for this position is £19,000 - £20,500 per annum, based on experience. Our benefits package includes TRFS rewards scheme, paid travel during shifts, and opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities
  • PROVIDE PERSON-CENTRED CARE AND SUPPORT TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND/OR ADDITIONAL SUPPORT NEEDS.
  • COVER SHIFTS TO ENSURE CONTINUED HIGH-QUALITY CARE AND SUPPORT DURING TIMES OF LEAVE, TRAINING, OR SICKNESS.
  • SUPPORT INDIVIDUALS WITH DAILY LIVING TASKS, INCLUDING MEAL PREPARATION, MEDICATION, AND PERSONAL CARE.

You'll work closely with our team to provide emotional support and assistance with major life changes. Some of the people we support enjoy being active in their communities, and you'll be encouraged to take an active interest in their hobbies.

Qualifications and Skills
  • SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCE IN CARE WORK OR A SIMILAR FIELD.
  • GOOD OBSERVATION AND RECORD-KEEPING SKILLS.
  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS, BOTH VERBAL AND WRITTEN.
