About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Policy Strategist to join our team at HM Treasury. As a key member of our Infrastructure, Labour Markets and Migration Team, you will play a central role in developing and implementing the UK government's infrastructure strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of the government's ten-year infrastructure strategy, advising ministers on the overall shape and priorities.
  • Project management, supervising the credible planning, execution, and delivery of the infrastructure strategy.
  • Collaborate with senior officials, ministers, industry leaders, and external experts to collect input, build consensus, and ensure the strategy reflects a wide range of perspectives.

About You

We are looking for a talented individual who can work with others on competing objectives in delivering organisational priorities. You will be good at building positive relationships and understanding a variety of perspectives, as well as skilfully managing simultaneous pieces of work to deliver on both long- and short-term goals.
