About the Role
We are seeking a highly professional and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Welcome Host at Greater Anglia. As a key member of our station team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring the safe and punctual dispatch of trains, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our passengers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide proactive assistance and information to customers on and off the train
- Ensure the safe and punctual dispatch of trains, adhering to operational standards and the rule book
- Provide effective customer service in a fast-paced environment, wearing full uniform and maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Conduct security checks of the station and premises, and carry out winter precautions as per local instructions
- Work a varied roster, including early starts, late finishes, and nights, with the possibility of working weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts

We are looking for someone with a high level of professionalism, a positive attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills. You will be proactive, friendly, and open when dealing with our customers, and remain calm under pressure. You will also be flexible and adaptable to change, and have a strong commitment to safety.
