Rehabilitation Support Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Rehabilitation Support Worker at Redford Court/Lodge, a 29-bed service in Liverpool. Our service provides rehabilitation to individuals with acquired brain injuries, and we are looking for someone to join our team to support our service users in developing independent living skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide personalised support to our service users, following individual support plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
- Develop independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, and socialising.
- Assist with hands-on personal care, as needed, under the guidance of occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
- Organise and participate in a range of activities, both at Redford Court/Lodge and in the local Liverpool community, such as art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, and swimming.
- A competitive rate of up to £13.00 per hour.

We are looking for someone with a genuine empathy for our residents, who can provide positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through the difficult times of their rehabilitation. You should enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues. Excellent face-to-face communication skills and a good standard of literacy are essential. Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload are also required.
