Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support to service users, following individualized support plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, and socializing.
- Work collaboratively with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to provide hands-on personal care, as needed, and follow their guidance and support.
- Organize and participate in a variety of activities, both at the service and in the local community, to promote engagement and socialization.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Empathy and understanding for individuals with acquired brain injuries, with the ability to provide positive, patient, and resilient support.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Good time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a workload and meet deadlines.
- A competitive rate of up to £13.00 per hour.
