About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rehabilitation Support Worker to join our team at Redford Court/Lodge, a 29-bed service in Liverpool. As a Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with acquired brain injuries to regain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized support to service users, following individualized support plans to meet their needs and aspirations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote independent living skills, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, exercise, leisure activities, and socializing.
  • Work collaboratively with occupational therapists and physiotherapists to provide hands-on personal care, as needed, and follow guidance produced by these professionals.
  • Organize and participate in a variety of activities, both at Redford Court/Lodge and in the local Liverpool community, such as art, crafts, music, sports, gardening, shopping, and swimming.
Requirements
  • Genuine empathy for service users, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through challenging times.
  • Excellent face-to-face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize your own workload.
