About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Shop Manager in Ipswich. As a key member of our retail team, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of the shop, generating donations, and driving sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Shop Manager in the day-to-day management of the shop, including generating donations and driving sales.
  • Manage stock deliveries and collections, and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a loyal and committed team of volunteers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of retail strategies to drive sales and growth.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £23,400 pro rata per annum, equivalent to £12 per hour.
  • 16 hours a week on a flexible seven-day rota basis.
  • Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year, rising to 40 days after five years.
  • Up to 8% employer pension contributions.
