About this Role:

The Cumbria County Council is looking for a highly motivated IT Support Professional to join its ICT service team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and supporting our IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in IT service management and contribute to the overall success of the IT department and user satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the ICT service team to ensure that technology services are delivered efficiently and align with organisational goals.
  • Procurement Support: Assist with managing ICT procurement requests to meet the needs of the organisation.
  • Technical Support: Act as a point of reference to ICT service staff for technical queries and issues.
  • Service Quality Improvement: Maintain service quality by conducting regular reviews and implementing best practices in ITIL methodologies.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £33,866 per annum and a range of benefits, including 37 hours per week and 3 x permanent positions available. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A strong understanding of IT service management principles and experience working with ITSM tools
