Job Summary

Oxford Health NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our Staying Close programme in Wiltshire. As a key member of our team, you will provide a high-quality specialist therapy service to professionals working with care leavers, while also contributing to research and training within the area.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are passionate about improving outcomes for young people transitioning from care. As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing consultation and support to team members, delivering training on the Ambit model, and offering supervision to staff using this framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a specialist therapy service to professionals working with care leavers
  • Contribute to research and training within the area
  • Deliver training on the Ambit model to staff
  • Offer supervision to staff using the Ambit model
  • Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures
Person Specification

We are looking for a registered RMN, OT, Social Worker, or Psychological Therapist with experience of working with young people who are known to Children's social care and present with complex needs. You will have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults, as well as highly developed interpersonal skills for delivering key messages to a range of stakeholders.
