About the Role

Sustainability is a critical aspect of Haleon's operations, and we are seeking a skilled Sustainability Data Domain Owner to join our team. This role will play a key part in ensuring that our ESG targets are effectively and accurately reported, which is essential for our company's performance.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability Data Product Owner to ensure that the required sustainability data is collected, curated, and managed in the correct way. This will involve developing a data foundation roadmap that creates enterprise sustainability data assets, defining and setting data quality rules, and promoting the reuse of sustainability data assets across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure close alignment to Audit, External Regulatory and Legal requirements with no risk or violation against them.
  • Create and execute a strategy to build a data foundation roadmap that creates enterprise sustainability data assets.
  • Work with the business to define and set data quality rules to ensure the curated datasets are of the highest quality and can be used as part of regulatory assurance.
  • Work alongside the business to capture and articulate the value of the data assets which have been created.
  • Identify and value sustainability data gaps which need to be filled in the organisation.
  • Promote the reuse of the sustainability data assets across the business by comparing analytics requirements to reduce data duplication.
  • Deliver a sustainability data asset catalogue which lists the lineages of the data assets which have been curated and the data quality rules which have been applied.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential
  • Bachelor's degree or local equivalent.
  • Proven experience of managing data assets in a large organisation.
  • Proven Experience (5+ years) in Data Asset management or a related role ideally with a focus on sustainability initiatives.
  • Be able to understand and articulate the value of the sustainability data to the organization.
  • Demonstrable ability to work with Data Modellers on definition, Data Product Owners on value/purpose/priority and Data Engineers on delivery.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure stack.
  • Working in a globally dispersed and matrix organisation.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Proficiency in working effectively within cross-functional teams and building strong partnerships.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Openness to change, flexibility in strategies, and maintaining performance under pressure.
